The Faculty of Business, Economics and Statistics is delighted to invite you to the OMDS special PhD seminar on the occasion of the award of an honorary doctorate to Hon. Prof. Dr. Stefan Reichelstein.

An honorary doctorate is a prestigious academic award that honors individuals for their outstanding scientific achievements and contributions to a university or a faculty. Stefan Reichelstein is being awarded an honorary doctorate for his pioneering contributions to the field of management accounting, which have significantly advanced the discipline.

In this OMDS seminar, Professor Reichelstein will share insights from his many years of experience working in the United States at UC Berkeley and the Stanford Graduate School of Business, as well as in Europe at University of Mannheim, where he founded the Mannheim Institute for Sustainable Energy Studies (MISES).

Participants of the seminar can expect a practice-oriented and comparative perspective on academic career paths, providing insights and reflections for early-career researchers.
