The graduation documents are automatically issued within 4 weeks by the StudiesServiceCenter after your successful defense. You will be notified via email once they are ready.

Please note that graduation documents are issued electronically (as PDF) by default. If you wish to get the printed documents, you will have to send a request after receiving the digital version. Information on that procedure is included in the graduation notification email.

After the positively assessed public defense, the academic title according to the Curriculum is awarded (PhD or Dr.). You then have the possibility to celebrate your completion of the doctoral study with a conferring ceremony. For more information on how to register, please follow this link.
